📣🧬🚴♀️ Event report: Cambridge, UK, Saturday 12April25 Combining a passion for biotech, cycling, learning and making connections. Another super BiotechBikers day! After two short talks, discussions, breakfast and networking, three pelotons headed to 'the hills' for a 66km jaunt and another headed out for a 35km ride. Then after a joint cafe stop all returned to o2h group's fabulous Hauxton site for sandwiches and more biotech chat and networking. A big thanks to: 👏 Damian Crowther for giving a most insightful and exciting talk about the genesis of and progress and plans at TRIMTECH Therapeutics Limited following their recent £25M seed round. The company is developing a pipeline of CNS penetrant therapeutics based on its aggregate-selective degrader molecules known as TRIMTACs. 👏 Amritjot Jethwa from our recent Podium Partner Appleyard Lees IP LLP for sharing stories of how her team have supported local companies and entreprenneurs and for news of a fabulous 3-day supported ride to Bruges in time BioEquity Europe in support of the amazing childrens' medical charity Action Medical Research. See here for more info: https://lnkd.in/dqZWMfWD 👏 Ieuan Roberts, Oliver Freeman, Victoria Steadman and Miranda Sahakian Robbins for stepping up and leading the rides. 👏 Sunil Shah and o2h group for hosting with breakfast and lunch at their super facility in Hauxton and Jason Brown for event planning. 👏Jennifer Harbottle for super photos. Big thanks for organising such a fantastic event! This was my second time, and I really enjoyed it. It was great to meet both old and new friends. Huge shoutout to Jason for all the planning, to Sunil Shah for the delicious food, coffee, and cosy space at o2h, and to Miranda for ensuring everyone’s safety during the ride. Also, a big thanks to Damian and Amritjot for sharing their valuable experiences!
