I believe in honesty and transparency. That’s how we learn and connect. Last week, I had several opportunities to share my experience in the startup world. I met with three young startups. I honestly shared my experience with everyone. Three coffees, four founders. Hugs at the end ❤️ I believe the hardest thing is to stay consistent, maintain your integrity, not get discouraged when things don’t go well, but understand why and keep going.(keep going on repeat😎) I’m thinking of creating a support circle where we could meet regularly. If anyone is interested, write/leave a comment ☺️ Photo description: if you can close your eyes and clearly see you goal, you will “shoot it” ☺️ #startup

I recently spoke with a founder who left their startup, which later became a success, and it left me reflecting on three key lessons: 1. Integrity matters more than the money you might make. Simple as that. If you’re smart and in the right ecosystem, opportunities will always find you. 2. Never burn bridges. Relationships are everything. I believe in making genuine connections. If it doesn’t click, that’s okay—forcing it won’t work. 3. Startups aren’t overnight successes, no matter how they may seem. It’s about repeatability and scaling, which only happens after building a solid brand. I’m gaining an even deeper appreciation for scaling basys.ai right now.

Startups don't pay you as much as a later-stage or public company. So, if you want a higher income, work for a later-stage/public company. Later-stage/public companies don't offer a chance for a life-changing windfall. So, if you want that chance (however unlikely), work for a startup. Whichever you choose, be sure to align your expectations with the kind/stage of company you're working for!
