Despite these findings, at least 10 states still lack formal guidelines on how these medications should be used with children in foster care.

2wI have PTSD, autism, and ADHD with an ACE of an 8. I am also unmedicated for personal reasons (ie side effects). Being accepted and loved has given me the safe place to be able to focus on being able to control myself with the help of therapy. We feel the world so much and it can be scary for care givers… but we deserve a place to try.
