Dekalb County's Nurse Navigation Program is leading EMS innovation! In 2024, Dekalb County's Nurse Navigation program managed more than 11,000 calls, saving millions in healthcare costs and improving emergency response. By connecting non-life-threatening calls with licensed nurses, this program allows for the optimization of resources and ensures the right care at the right time. The GMR 911 Nurse Navigation program is now expanding across 30 communities, and we look forward to seeing the continued positive impact it will make nationwide. “Nearly half of our 911 calls in DeKalb involve conditions that don’t pose an immediate threat to life or limb,” said GMR South Region Vice President of Operations Brett Jovanovich. “With the support of our parent company’s innovative Nurse Navigation program, AMR can dedicate its advanced resources to life-threatening emergencies while seamlessly guiding non-urgent callers to high-quality, alternative care solutions.” #OneTeam #NurseNavigation https://ow.ly/JJTW50V33ty
