Sound Technology is an enterprise artificial intelligence organization. We like to solve problems that are really meaningful for humanity. So think about how do you manage the water infrastructure for a city, like our AI systems help to manage the water supply for the whole City of London. We're working on a project with something called the Partnership for Digital Access to Africa to connect 600 million people in Africa with broadband, and we're creating the algorithms that shows where to lay the broadband. For the lowest cost possible that reaches the most people, we're using AI to bring healthcare to rural areas and Miranda, for example, in addition to running sound technologies, I started African Nation Group, which is a group of academic institutions. Alex is special in particular is particularly focused on training technology talents. Before we teach them data science and artificial intelligence and you know, all this technology, we first trained them in ethics and values. They learn about healthcare and education and gender issues and so forth, so that when they now have quick with technology, they have a purpose. I want to use AI for education. I want to build AI for health. I want to use AI to improve the climate. AI is a very powerful force. But it can be a force for good or for evil. So the only way you make sure that it's not useful evil is that you give people values before you give them the AI. It's a great time to be a young person in Africa, but understand what AI is. Learn how to use it, focus on the real problems that it solves, and then figure out what type of AI can solve that problem. My hope is that this will be on a moment of awakening for the continent right to really realize the potential of AI and use it to rapidly transform Africa.
