Hi everyone, my name is Tafara Gordo. I am from Zimbabwe and an African Leadership alumni and I am a sophomore at Hamilton College. It's a framework that just works for me to look at what I want and who can help me get there. Hamilton was that college and I'm glad to say that calculation was right. It has been for the past two years as also placing emphasis on communication. I'm connecting with people because even before I got to the place, I wanted to ensure that whether it be an admissions officer or some of the students are reached out to some of the professors. We start to as well. That communication to me was top tier. It was stellar. And that thought to myself, this is a fascinating place. So I narrowed it down. I went from, I want to go to a small liberal arts school to now I've got choices now that options. And this one seems to be at the top of the list. But Hamilton being what it is, I wasn't sure I'd get in as well because I was like really great school, really excellent people. And you know, there's some doubts that come in throughout the admissions process, during the admissions process because you sometimes feel like you're not enough and we're not going to focus on that. At all, because I believe that each and every person on this call is very capable. I share that with you because that's what was shared with me and I could not have done it without the support and the guidance of other people along the way. So definitely lean on the people that you have.
