▶ 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 ◀ Martin was born in the Netherlands, spent a portion of his childhood living in the US, and has been living in Austria since 2014. In his master’s studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Martin worked on small-scale particle accelerators. As a PhD at the University of Innsbruck, Martin worked in the field of quantum optics, investigating technologies aimed towards scalability for quantum information processing. Outside of work, he enjoys making music, playing board games, and all the outdoor activities the mountains around Innsbruck have to offer. At AQT he will be helping to set up the newest generation of AQT’s ion trapping technologies. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗤𝗧 𝗮𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿.
