Alliant Engineering, Inc.’s Post

The scope of the CSAH 86 bridge reconstruction project in Castle Rock includes widening shoulders, removing the center pier that previously separated traffic, and increasing the vertical clearance to meet Minnesota standards. During construction, train operations continued on a temporary shoofly track monitored wirelessly 24/7 by Alliant’s Survey crew. Recently, with our Construction Inspector, Rae Tressler, overseeing the installation, Lunda and E&J Rebar set the sacrificial beams that will act as bumpers, protecting the bridge from tall loads. This has been an awesome project to watch come to life and we’re excited to see the completion in early spring. #Alliant #BuildingBetterCommunities #LandSurvey #Survey #Construction
