I might really have to quit now. I think this whole sales thing is not for me anymore How long did I even think I was going to do this for. Waking up every morning is gradually becoming a task. The whole sales process was damn difficult. But i stopped and thought for a minute. I've been doing this for the longest. How do you really leave what has become a part and parcel of your life. Who on earth doesn't engage in sales one way or another? It is the lifeblood of any organization. Without the sales team, the company literally dies out. Let me explain briefly what I do here. You see, in my sales process, I always start by thoroughly understanding the customer's needs and pain points. I make sure to present our products or services as the solution to their specific challenges. Building rapport and trust is crucial, so I focus on active listening and clear communication. I highlight the unique selling points and benefits. Tailoring my pitch to address their concerns directly. Using persuasive languages and providing case studies or testimonials. I create a sense of urgency and value to encourage a decision. Finally, I always follow up promptly and professionally, ensuring a smooth closing process. What are the processes you use in your career roles? Please share in the comment section and let's learn together. I want to give a shout out to Shantel Love , the author of Promote Your D@mn Self! Excellent title right?! And such a necessary reminder🩷🙏🏽 So that’s what I’m gonna do today and I INcourage YOU, especially my GEN- Xers, to do the same, and then DO SOME MORE! I’m pivoting from my Luxury Sales Specialist career and looking for an opportunity in the Tech World. So, let’s get into ME!😍 With 20 years of experience in luxury commissioned sales, I’ve thrived in building relationships, overcoming rejection, and delivering results—$24,000 sales kind of results! Whether it's cold calling or maintaining a high-end clientele, I know how to create connections that stick. Now, I'm pivoting that passion into the tech world, ready to rock the role of a BDR or Customer Success Manager. I know that every successful sale begins with understanding people’s needs. That’s what I’ve mastered over the years: being relentless in the pursuit of customer satisfaction, knowing when to nurture, and when to close. My skills in prospecting and maintaining client books don’t just translate—they evolve in a way that makes me an ideal fit for the tech industry . PLUS, if I can survive years of “let me think about it” , “I’m just looking” or BEING TOTALLY IGNORED and still deliver, I can handle anything! Lol! So, hiring managers, if you’re looking for someone who knows how to turn “no” into “let’s talk more,” then let's connect. With a sense of humor that matches Allen Watts’ zen approach to rejection (okay, maybe not that zen), I’m ready to help your company succeed. Let’s make some phenomenal WINSday moments together! Stay Amazing! (Who’s next?)

I don’t have many regrets in my life (not sure if its a feature or a bug?), but I do have one in my career: Not getting involved with sales earlier. When I was younger, I was convinced I would steer clear of two areas: sales and finance. Ironically, I ended up in the perfect blend of both as the CEO of a fintech company 🤷♂️ Back then, I thought I’d never take on a sales role. But looking back, that's my biggest professional regret. I wish I’d been exposed to sales earlier, learning the art and science of it from the start. Sales is at the heart of everything we do—whether it’s pitching a product, an idea, or simply deciding on dinner plans. I learned it the hard way: diving in headfirst without a guide or roadmap 🧭 Now, I want to offer that learning opportunity to someone else. At Franklin, we're looking for a driven Business Development Representative. You’ll work closely with me and Peter Klit to spread the word about Franklin and gain firsthand experience in the world of sales. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career with invaluable sales training, join our team 🚀 Apply today—you’ll thank me in a few years 😉 https://lnkd.in/dhrskNCS

As salespeople, we work so hard and move so fast, but when was the last time you stopped to think about what for? 💡 If you're in sales, obviously money is a high priority, but what a lot of people don't take advantage of is really breaking down the ways in which achieving their goals can make an impact on their lives. That's why I created an exercise called "Bringing your Quota to Life"! This is a great way to add fuel to the fire for both sales leaders and individual contributors to achieve their goals. Want to pay off your student debt? Get a new car? Take a vacation? Use this short and simple exercise to break down the timeline in which you can achieve your goals and then have fun executing them! Maybe put a picture of the beach you want to be on in Hawaii on your desk if that's what it takes! 🏝️😂 Thanks in advance for take a moment to review the video and comment below what lofty goals you've set for yourself! Lastly, The A Players are growing once again and I'm looking for a new awesome rep to join our world-class team! 🅰️ If you're interested in the role or know someone who is, please feel free to reach out! Cheers!

I am done with Sales! 🥲 I QUIT . . That is what was running in my mind exactly 1.5 years back. I have been in a client facing role in my work career until now. Every day I used to interact with client. I like talking to people, I enjoyed learning from them. 3 years into sales, fortunately I was able to clock my target almost in every quarter. Great appreciation, Great Incentives , Company Sponsored trips. Generally in other roles, your work depend on the amount of work you do. But in sales, only if the client says "Yes", then your work is counted. Target!... Despite doing great in sales, I was done with sales, literally fed up. Tired of chasing next "Yes" from the client. That is when I wanted to quit sales. Did I quit?? Damn No!! I just took a step back and started to reflect. Then I started realising something important. Sales is a craft. The problem isn't sales, it was my approach. I had fallen into the trap of target race rather than relationship building. I shifted my approach from meeting my targets to solving clients problem. It's not about the incentive, not about recognition, it's the satisfaction that I have built a real connection. So, here I am. Still in sales - but with a whole new mindset. Have you ever felt like quitting? If this resonates, drop a 👍 or share your thoughts below!

❌️ Sales ?! Not my thing ! ❌️ This is a phrase I hear often when discussing real estate careers with different people. Many shy away from the idea due to the misconception that it's all about pushy sales tactics. ⚠️ But let me tell you a secret, I wasn't drawn to this profession because I wanted to be a salesperson either ! Our role transcends the traditional sales model. We're more like consultants, navigating clients through the complexities of the market and providing invaluable guidance along the way. In fact, it's often the clients who seek us out, recognizing the added value we bring and the personalized service we deliver. You might have a negative view of real estate consultants, and unfortunately, there's a reason for that. Many agents misrepresent our industry in their approach.. However, it's important to highlight that there are also numerous exceptional professionals in our field. These individuals possess a profound understanding of the industry, approach their responsibilities with integrity, and consistently deliver outstanding results 👌🏻 If you're curious about what a career in real estate truly entails, I invite you to connect with me. 🤝🏻 Let's chat about the reality of the job and whether it might be the right fit for you 🤝🏻 . . . #dubairealestate #dubairealestatejobs #knowthedifference #dubairealtor #realestatedubai #careeropportunity

20 years ago I was a broke college student. No money. No skills. No degree. I turned to sales because there was no barrier to entry. 6 years ago I retired with multiple 7-figures in commissions. This is how I became a top 1% sales professional: When I started in sales I sucked. I had no skills and little guidance. My manager at the time gave me a few sales scripts and a couple of (outdated) books. But they didn’t help me at all. At some point, I thought about quitting. But deep down I knew I was the problem. I saw all my colleagues taking home decent commissions. I was the only one stuck. So I started learning more about the psychology of persuasion. I had a background in behavioral science. So I tried to find the principles that rang true across both domains. I reached a fairly (early) conclusion. Sales was all about: 1. Finding problems 2. Collaborating with the prospect 3. Not sounding like every other salesperson 4. Asking the right questions at the right time 5. Helping others, not pushing them to buy from you That was the beginning of NEPQ (the sales framework I’ve used for 17+ years and that I teach my clients.) Things started changing for me. And I quickly progressed to become the best salesperson at my company. I was outselling sales veterans at this point. Not bad for a college kid. I went on to sell in 4 different industries. Made it to the top 1% of each industry every single time. I retired after a 17-year sales career as a W-2 sales rep with multiple 7-figures in commissions. Fast-forward to today, I run the fastest-growing sales training company in the US. All because I learned the right sales skills. If you want to learn more about how we help our clients — Comment the word “SKILLS”.

"Why the f$@% is it so hard to find a good salesperson?!?" 🤬 - A close friend without a sales background The harsh reality is that you're always selling or being sold and smart sales executives only care about 3 things: 1) How much money can I make? 2) How fast can I make it? 3) How certain am I that I can make it and will actually get paid? Being at a high growth startup with a cool product or service, lots of recognition and even fun perks like travel or steak dinners are nice... BUT none of that matters if there's no $$$! 💡 So what's the solution? Sell the sales executive first on you, the opportunity, and the vision. P.S. This goes for recruiting too 😉
