ALFIE project’s Post

Be A(I)ware of the lack of transparency around the use of AI 🔍. The AI Act (#AIAct) introduces specific disclosure obligations to ensure that people are clearly informed when AI is being used and how it may affect them, helping to build #trust and #accountability. This applies to AI systems such as #chatbots, where users must be made aware they are communicating with a machine to make informed decisions. It also applies to #GenerativeAI: providers must ensure that AI-generated content is identifiable. In particular, #deepfakes and AI-generated text intended to inform the public must be clearly and visibly labelled. Developers should provide clear and accessible #disclaimers, through labels, intro messages, or visual indicators, to ensure users immediately understand when they are engaging with AI ✅. 📌 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ehhaxR9 This recommendation is from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) as part of the Be A(I)ware campaign. #BeAIware #CERTH #AIAct #ArtificialIntelligence #AIEthics #Transparency #TrustInTech #ResponsibleAI #AIRegulation #DigitalEU #AIForGood #TechForPeople
