It seems like Elias Khnaser and I were right about the readiness of Apple Intelligence in the last episode of Reality Distortion Fields. Hopefully, we are not right about everything else we said. Listen to the episode: https://lnkd.in/exd7q7jb #appleintelligence

Leaders often miss this key component of human nature and I believe this is why burnout is so prevalent. When employees receive gratitude for their work, when they feel aligned with the purpose and meaning of their role and impact, they have this replenishing well of energy to tap into. Just taking a few moments to focus on this with their teams can truly have a compounding return.

Just finished listening to Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead podcast where she had an inspiring conversation with Eric Mosley, CEO of Workhuman, on the future of work—and it struck a chord. Eric’s perspective on Making Work Human aligns so well with what we all seem to want more of in the workplace: connection, trust, and purpose. As he pointed out, companies that put people at the center don’t just create happier employees; they build more resilient, innovative organizations. And that’s the future of work—a culture where the human experience matters just as much as the bottom line. Imagine a workplace where recognition isn’t just a perk but a core part of how we operate. Where expressing gratitude and showing appreciation is a core value that is nurtured. Where leaders show up with vulnerability and empathy, setting a tone of trust that empowers people to bring their best selves every day. This is what "human-centered culture" looks like, and it’s what we need to strive for. As leaders, it's important for us to regularly step back and reflect. Are we making people feel seen, valued, and connected? If not, what can we do to keep human connection at the forefront of everything we do? #FutureOfWork #HumanCenteredCulture #Leadership #DareToLead Naeema Clark Safina Samian Howard Solomon Jean-Michel Dumont Catherine Feliciano-Chon Jenny Lo Annouchka Behrmann Shivani Gupta Aman Gupta Priyanka Bajpai Juliet Zhu Celia Jones

To lead effectively, you have to understand your people and what's important to them if you expect them to follow you. Keep looking 2 levels up and walking 2 levels down.

I love this quote! Gratitude is at the heart of my leadership style. I keep a basket of notecards on my desk, and I make it a habit to write notes of thanks to colleagues, letting them know how much they are valued. In our remote environment, I send notes of encouragement via Slack—sometimes just to let someone know they’re appreciated and being thought of. I’ve always believed that people want two things: to be heard and to be appreciated. When we prioritize both, we move our organizations forward in powerful ways. #gratitude #leadership #purpose #meaning
