Since 2023, the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Dresden) has been recognising outstanding companies in the region that demonstrate above-average training performance in dual vocational training. This year, the Chamber named A. Lange & Söhne "Training Company of the Year". At the award ceremony yesterday, March 11th, 2025, A. Lange & Söhne was honoured by those responsible at the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the multifaceted commitment that the Glashütte manufacture shows to its current 48 trainees. Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid emphasised the great responsibility to invest in the recruitment and training of top talent: "Since 1997, we have made it our mission to prepare dedicated young people for the profession and thus secure the next generation of skilled professionals. Since then, 263 young people have completed their training with us. The fact that most of our graduates are still working for us is testament not only to the quality of our training, but also to the future opportunities associated with our traditional craftsmanship."
