We are reflecting on the election results and the continued challenges of advancing a racially just Oakland within a deeply divisive and oppressive political landscape. In this moment of transition and uncertainty, we reaffirm our commitment to rising to the challenges ahead, standing boldly with our communities, and doubling down on our pursuit of liberation and justice. Regardless of what party is in power, it’s the people who will push this country forward to being a true multiracial democracy— together, onward, upward, and always in community. As we approach election day, it’s key to remember that voting is one of the most powerful ways we can work toward building peace and justice in the world. Engaging in the political process thoughtfully and conscientiously ensures that our values are reflected in society, particularly in how we care for the most vulnerable among us. A stable political system thrives when everyone has the opportunity to participate, and your voice is an important part of that. As you prepare to vote, reflect on how your choices can prioritize justice and compassion.

Join us for a special post-election roundtable where we dive deep into the 2024 election results. Nationally, Donald Trump has secured a return to the White House, sparking widespread conversation about the future of American policy, governance, and our political landscape. Closer to home, in North Carolina, voters saw a tight race that ended with Josh Stein defeating Mark Robinson for Governor, signaling a distinct shift in state leadership. I’ll be joined by a powerhouse panel of North Carolina’s political insiders: Mitch Kokai (Senior Policy Analyst, John Locke Foundation), Derwin Montgomery (former NC House Representative and community leader), and Joe Stewart (Political Director, NC FreeEnterprise Foundation). Together, we’ll unpack the dynamics that drove voter turnout, key moments that shaped both national and state races, and what the outcomes mean for policy, community impact, and the road ahead. #LOCKEDIN

As the world's superpower, due to the far-reaching impacts for being a superpower, as far as the US Presidential Election is concerned, It's important for strong influential powers inside America outside the American political sphere, to be unbiased and non-partisan as it could skew the election results disproportionately which could appear as a systemic bias. An American political sphere consists of the Pan-American Political Community, Political Elites, Lobbying Interests, PACs, Super PACs, Corporations, Financiers, and Think Tanks. #USElections2024
