Keeping your people safe is not an option, but an expectation. Are you doing enough to ensure that? Are you training annually, at least? If not, why not. An OSHA inspector can/will ask your employees a lot of questions so the more they feel that their safety is valued, the better those 'interviews' will go. NOTHING trumps safety. Not deadlines, not production, not delivery, nothing is more important than safety. IF your employees feel their safety is valued, the rest will fall into place. We cannot allow employees to become complacent because that is OFTEN the number 1 reason for accidents. 98-99% of which are avoidable if you go back far enough..... #safetyeducationisjob1 #safetywithapassion #complacencyisourenemy

As someone with an OSHA 30 certification, I know that even with a solid safety program in place, businesses need to be prepared for an OSHA visit and any potential violations. First, verify the inspector’s credentials and limit the inspection to the specific areas they request. If you can address any quick fixes on the spot, do so. Always stay with the inspector during the visit, and maintain a cooperative and respectful attitude throughout. Have you ever experienced an OSHA inspection? Any tips or advice to share? #HRCompliance #EmploymentLaw #WorkplaceSafety
