I had the corner office.
Led the biggest team.
But I was miserable.
Not the kind that anyone could see.
The quiet kind.
The Sunday night kind.
The 'is this all there is' kind.
Here's what no one tells you:
Success can be a prison.
Achievement can be a trap.
Security can be a cage.
Because there's a voice inside that whispers:
'You should be grateful'
'You should be happy'
'You should be satisfied'
But there's another voice.
The quiet one.
The honest one.
The brave one.
It's asking:
'What if there's more?'
'What if you could love what you do?'
'What if you're settling?'
The hardest truth?
You already know the answer.
You're just waiting for permission.
Here it is:
You can want more.
You deserve more.
It's not too late.
For me, it was doing something that truly impacted people's lives and lit me up every day.

When I first started this journey, I was doing everything single-handedly. At that stage, it was all about me and my personal goals. In hindsight, I realize that I was being somewhat selfish. But now, with a talented team at Aronin Creations, my perspective has shifted dramatically. 🤝
Having a team has transformed my motivation. It’s no longer just about achieving my own success; it’s about empowering and growing the team. This shift in mindset has been incredibly fulfilling. My new mission is to help each team member develop their skills and realize their potential.
I may not have much to pay at this early stage, but I have a wealth of learnings to share. With the support of my business consultancy friends, we are focusing on upgrading everyone's knowledge. Through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, we are building a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Fostering this team-first mentality is not just about immediate gains; it's about creating a strong, united foundation for the future. Together, we are more resilient, innovative, and ready to take on any challenge that comes our way.

As we step into a new week, let's be thoughtful about the impact we have on our teams.
As Maya Angelou graciously said,
"People will forget what you said,
people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget
how you made them feel."
We have a responsibility to be intentional about leading.
The atmosphere we cultivate affects our team's EXPERIENCE.
We should offer support in ways that uplift and empower.
This will have a positive impact on their motivation and performance.
As well as their respect and commitment.
Simple Acts with Big Impact:

A simple thank you goes a long way.

Encourage skill development and provide tools needed.

Communicate, compliment, and celebrate.

While this may sound like common sense, it's easy for these simple acts of leadership to get lost in the laundry list of to-do's.

When I started my career, I couldn't wait to lead a team.
When I led a team, I couldn't wait to lead a bigger team.
When I led the biggest team, I couldn't wait to lead the company.

When I led the biggest company in the group, I decided to launch a start-up.
It's ok to have more ambitious pursuits.
But there often isn't an endpoint.
So the journey needs to be where the satisfaction is.
Look around and admire the view.

Unleashing A Team's Superpowers: A Celebration of Diversity and Strength!
Reflecting on a recent retrospective with our dedicated project team, I'm reminded of the incredible power of diversity. During this gathering, we celebrated the unique 'superpowers' each member brought to the table, which were instrumental in steering our client through a significant transformation.
In a symbolic act of recognition, each team member was given a balloon and was asked to write a personal superpower that they felt contributed to our collective success. Some of the superpowers mentioned were: persistence, collaboration, energy, resilience, determination, empathy, responsiveness, structure, and patience.
At the end of the exercise, we popped the balloons! This shower of confetti, representing our superpowers, rained down upon us, as a vibrant reminder that each of us carries a blend of talents and qualities that are vital to the team's success.
As we move forward, let's carry this message with us: every superpower, no matter how big or small, plays a crucial role in our journey. Together, we are more resilient, more creative, and more capable of overcoming any turning point that comes our way.
