🚀Ha preso il via la AIESMA Summer School (Artificial Intelligence-enabled Innovation & Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Manufacturing Summer School), l’iniziativa di Fondazione HIT e Università di Trento con EIT Manufacturing che mira a sviluppare competenze di imprenditorialità e innovazione sostenibile attraverso l'uso dell'intelligenza artificiale nel settore manifatturiero ⚙♻ In questi primi giorni i/le partecipanti hanno avuto la possibilità di conoscere e interagire con molti ospiti al fine di costruire un solido bagaglio di conoscenze, esplorando la sinergia tra intelligenza artificiale e sostenibilità. Tra i relatori, anche Marco Senigalliesi, Milena Bigatto e Gloria Cannone Fondazione HIT. Con loro i/le partecipanti hanno potuto approfondire aspetti chiave come: 💡 il valore dell’impatto della ricerca e gli elementi fondamentali per realizzare un progetto imprenditoriale di successo; 💡 metodologie per migliorare le competenze imprenditoriali; 💡 tecniche per una comunicazione efficace e persuasiva delle proprie idee. A team of four third-year engineering students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore — Chukka Navneet Krishna, Kottakki Srikar Vamsi, Amrit Subramanian, and Surya Santhosh Kumar—has made history at the prestigious HackHarvard 2024. They secured the coveted ‘Overall Best Hack’ award on the All-Track Grand Prize, outperforming teams from world-renowned institutions like MIT, Stanford, and Harvard. Their groundbreaking project, Sustainify, is an AI-powered application designed to promote sustainable living. As Krishna explained to Deccan Chronicle, "It’s an app that helps people live a healthy life with sustainable methods." Users can scan any edible item's packaging to instantly learn about its nutritional content, including fat, sugar, sodium levels, and potential allergens. By integrating with user-uploaded medical reports, the app provides personalised health recommendations. When a product is scanned, the app even suggests creative ways to reuse or recycle it, minimising waste and promoting a circular economy. Additionally, its eco-shopping assistant feature helps users make informed choices by scanning products in stores and suggesting low-carbon options. Today Loris Roveda presented SUPERHUMAN to the students and PhD students of #robotics at DEI- Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. It was a beautiful presentation on exoskeletons that stimulated the boys and girls present to ask questions. We thus began the training component of the project. The next initiatives will also involve companies that can benefit from the use of an exoskeleton. Sotto la supervisione del docente Vladimiro Antonio Guindani, i nostri studenti prenderanno parte a un progetto di ricerca europeo, Ace-ex Project, legato all’economia circolare e all’agricoltura. Gli studenti hanno affrontato l’aspetto teorico della loro ricerca, studiando i concetti fondamentali e rivedendo gli argomenti principali.
