The March Issue of the Food Security Monitor is out. The publication highlights alot of progress and new policies that are promoting #FoodSystems in Africa. ✅ #Tanzania Masika season cereals are developing well, although northern coastal areas experienced below-average rainfall in March.  ✅ #Kenya short rains maize harvest concluded poorly in Eastern and Coastal areas, while long rains maize planting has begun.  ✅ #Uganda first season maize planting faces challenges due to rainfall deficits, but forecasts suggest improved precipitation through early April.
