Why is launching a product so scary? I felt this firsthand when launching my product and it didn’t even land. Now I’ve built a couple and I’m still figuring out product-market fit. What can save time though is pre-built user flows where you only need to plug in product information and how users can access your product. Does this sound like a solution you could use? If so, comment “LaunchTime” so you’ll be the first to try my solution. Follow me, Courtney Ngai, as I #buildinpublic 💻 #launchtime #apphia #techfounder

This was the night my first formal field study for #MyTicketMate ended early when someone gave me a spare ticket for free. Today, as part of my #Bigger and #Fishburners MVP Sprint, I realised something about what my MVP needs to include and, just as importantly, things it does not. #FacundoGabrielBardi has made a video on what is needed for our Go To Market Strategy. He advises, "There is not yet proof of concept about what should come next after the MVP launch. Progress should be focused on feedback from real users. There is no reason why you have to keep your product in a constant state of development without showcasing it to your users". This week, as I constructed the #MyTicketMate Golden Path for the MVP, I have been adding some fancy features that my friends thought would be nice when I asked them to brainstorm the app for me. There is no evidence that these features will ever be wanted or needed by most users, so I should focus on the problem spaces I can prove exist through my research. After all, one of the biggest problems I thought I was solving has already been abandoned from my pitch, and it turned out that more than a third of users don't pay attention to it. In fact, by drawing attention to this particular problem, I was adding a reason for potential customers to say no to my product. Now, I will go back to the planning on our team Miro board with this new perspective on the real purpose of my MVP. I hope you are having as much fun this weekend as I am.

October is already a wild month, and I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be transitioning out of the world of IT, back to the world of Startups as we bring our Salable platform to market. We believe that developers and creators need to be enabled to make a livelihood for themselves, to own their own businesses, and to scale and grow in new ecosystems. Platforms, app ecosystems, and vendors who do not get the fundamentals their commercial infrastructure right, suffer from lack of growth and adoption. Salable is the platform that enables this Developer Economy, and helps you commercialize your SaaS business. We build off of the power of Stripe (Paddle and other providers also available), and allow you to license your products functionality to customers with flexible pricing models, and retain customers throughout their lifetime of value. The commercial flexibility and independence for digital apps and software has been a passion of mine ever since joining the Adaptavist Group. From the initial boom that ScriptRunner experienced, through the often challenging adopting of new digitial ecosystems - it has remained clear that a strong #RevOps foundation enables organizations to grow, scale, adapt to changing customer taste and environment, and bring revenue quickly from new features and functionality. I want to take a moment and say a special thank you to Simon for believing and investing in me, and for everyone in the Adaptavist Group's support over the years. Without you, none of this would be possible. I can’t wait to see what magic our Salable crew are going to come out with - we will be sharing more about that soon. If you’re building apps (Miro, Backstage, HubSpot, Snowflake and Streamlit) or developing #SaaS platforms, Salable will help you stay competitive and grow your business and most importantly your customer community. Check us out at https://www.salable.app/
