🚨 New update on Medi-Cal redetermination data 🚨 Post COVID-19, the Medi-Cal unwinding period has concluded, revealing: • 1.8 million disenrolled (preliminary figure) • 3.7 million renewals still "in process" • 90-day reinstatement period for disenrolled individuals ✅ Significant improvements: • Ex parte renewal rates doubled from 31% to 63% • Non-MAGI ex parte rates skyrocketed from 0.4% to 47% ❌ Challenges remain: • 85% of disenrollments were procedural, not eligibility-based • Older adults and those with disabilities may be disproportionately affected Read the full update: https://lnkd.in/gtidChem #MediCal #HealthcareAccess #CaliforniaHealth
