Kudos to the a2 Collective | a2PilotAwards.ai for a terrific conference last week. If you’re looking to find the bleeding edge in #AgeTech this is a great place to look. Lots of stimulating presentations and conversations. The next one will be held in Washington DC next year and I’m looking very forward to attending. Grateful to spend time last week with some brilliant folks at the a2 poster session. Always good to see familiar faces like Michael Hughes and James Hueston, and finally meet Benjamin Richman! As expected, lots of great work on fall detection, prediction models, and digital biomarkers. What really caught my attention were the unexpected ones: oral health innovations, anti-phishing, and thoughtful frameworks for digital ethics. Exciting to see the field pushing beyond clinical risk detection into daily life, dignity, and safety - practical, human-centered ideas for aging in place. Thanks to the a2 Collective | a2PilotAwards.ai (and the NIA) for cultivating not just pilots, but a real ecosystem of innovators in aging and AI.

Michael Hughes thanks for being an engaged participant at the symposium. I appreciated your acknowledgment of being the other Mike Hughes, i.e. not the presenter. The team MassAITC appreciated you bringing your senior living perspective to the panel discussion Q&A.
