88 Energy is pleased to share advancements at Namibia’s Owambo Basin with the completion of 2D seismic processing over Petroleum Exploration Licence 93 (PEL 93), with key structural formations confirmed in the newly processed data. The seismic acquisition achieved high-quality data with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio across all nine acquired lines, reflecting effective acquisition parameters. This dataset will support detailed interpretation, which will be conducted in partnership with our Joint Venture partner, Monitor Exploration. The next phase will focus on independently estimating a maiden Prospective Resource for PEL 93 and determining future drilling locations. Early indications suggest a promising volumetric potential within the Mulden (Upper and Lower) and Otavi reservoirs, reinforcing PEL 93 as a project with substantial scale and future opportunity. 88 Energy looks forward to progressing this exciting asset further. 88 Energy is pleased to update shareholders on our exploration activities within Petroleum Exploration Licence 93 (PEL 93) in the Owambo Basin, Namibia. Initial processing and interpretation of the 2024 2D seismic data, conducted by Monitor Exploration Limited, has revealed 10 significant independent structural closures within the licence area. Several of these leads, located in the southern portion of PEL 93, show large structural closures, with some covering up to 100 km². These prospects exhibit vertical relief and strong hydrocarbon charge potential from source rocks to the north. We have received the seismic data from Monitor and are now validating these findings by integrating all available datasets. A prospective resource estimate for PEL 93 is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. 88 Energy remains focused on advancing this exciting opportunity and will continue to provide updates as we progress. Walvis Basin Oil Seep Prospectivity Offshore Namibia’s momentum keeps on accelerating -with a brief spell outside Orange basin- this time the attention turns up north into WALVIS Basin where very active Sintana Energy Inc. (TSXV: SEI) (OTCQB: SEUSF) announced earlier this week a NAMCOR NAMIBIA & Chevron deal, allowing the entrance of the US major into PEL82. The following compilation of maps discloses several potential oil seeps anomalies located from PEL96 down to PEL98. The key takeaway, as often, is the seep repeat over time, with one different color for the vectorized seeps in the snapshots meaning one different satellite date. In the past few months, some of these seep anomalies have been successfully integrated into Global Petroleum Limited (PEL94) and Tower Resources (PEL96) basin modelling, either located above prospects such as Alpha or Welwitschia Deep or by helping better define migration pathways. Currently, other exploration efforts are led by Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas with a grand total of about 30 000 km² of acreage (PEL 97, 98, 99 &100) and Atlas Oranto Petroleum (PEL106). PEL82 is famous for hosting the sole well that ever recorded oil shows in the entire Walvis basin (Wingat 1). Adjacent PEL 37 has been recently worked by Tullow Oil and Pancontinental Energy NL, unfortunate on the testing of the Cormorant prospect back in 2018 meanwhile French player MAUREL & PROM also did identify several prospects to the south in block 2212B. Very glad to see the large (>200 000 km²), little tested and underexplored (barely 10 wells, most of them in the shallower waters) Walvis Basin receiving the attention it deserves. Insightful: Oil seeps are natural indicators of potential oil reserves underground. They occur when oil or gas slowly leaks through the Earth's surface. Discovering oil seeps can lead to further exploration and drilling in the area to extract valuable resources.

Namibia’s Owambo Basin emerges as a new oil promise after Orange In the oil sector, Namibia recently gained attention due to significant discoveries in the offshore Orange Basin. Now, focus is shifting to the onshore Owambo Basin, where encouraging signs of oil and gas presence are emerging. Independent explorer Monitor Exploration Ltd (MEL) revealed on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, preliminary results from its 2D seismic survey conducted in July. Covering 200 kilometers in its onshore PEL 93 license area, which spans a total of 18,500 km², the analyses highlighted the potential of 11 promising prospects. These zones, representing over 1,000 km², could hold commercially viable resources. https://lnkd.in/e7dg9WaS

OGDCL Accelerates Tight Gas Exploration in Pakistan's Indus Basin OGDCL is making significant strides in the development of the country’s unconventional hydrocarbon resources in line with the Govt of Pakistan's new Tight Gas Policy 2024. OGDCL has already made notable progress in this area, with the successful production of its first tight gas well, Nur West-1, followed by additional wells to be fracked through in-house expertise. The company has launched a comprehensive study to assess tight gas prospectivity across key areas in the Lower Indus Basin, Sindh. To support this ambitious initiative, OGDCL announced an international tender on March 7, 2024, for an Integrated Study of Tight Gas Prospectivity Evaluation. After a rigorous two-stage evaluation process involving 11 international bidders and 7 shortlisted companies, Schlumberger (M/s SLB) was selected as the preferred contractor. The study, which will identify the most promising tight gas areas and wells, will play a crucial role in shaping OGDCL's future drilling and production strategies. Upon completion, the study will pinpoint optimal locations for new wells, as well as re-entry opportunities for existing wells, to conduct hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and unlock gas from tight reservoirs. This will help OGDCL to commercialize tight gas resources on a fast-track basis. OGDCL’s partnership with Schlumberger is expected to bring valuable expertise and innovation to Pakistan's tight gas sector, ensuring the sustainable and efficient exploitation of the country’s hydrocarbon resources. Based on regional studies and using preliminary data, it is estimated the total prospective resource of Pakistan's tight gas is 25.2 TCF. On its part, OGDCL plans to execute 25 wells, with an initial production potential of 60-75 MMSCFD and an estimated reserve of 75-90 BCF over the next 5 years. #OGDCL #EnergyForPakistan #TightGas #Innovation #EnergySecurity

88 Energy Ltd (AIM:88E, ASX:88E, OTC:EEENF) has announced the successful completion of its 2D seismic processing over Petroleum Exploration Licence 93 (PEL 93), located in the Owambo Basin, Namibia. Initial analysis of the processed seismic data has validated potential leads previously identified using legacy datasets, 88 Energy said in a statement. The exploration company now anticipates it will complete new resource estimates and select future well locations by the end of the first quarter of 2025. 88 Energy noted that the seismic data covered 203 line-kms captured in the second quarter of 2024, and it was processed by Canadian seismic data specialist Earth Signal. It identified several significant structures with a “high signal-to-noise” ratio across all nine seismic lines. The company highlighted that the data suggests that "Lead 9", described as a large structural feature spanning approximately 186 square kms,...
