My first mistake as a Graphic Designer !! There was a time in my career when I used to lie about my years of experience just to "get the client" which many times, didn't play out well because I didn't understand the game at the time. I knew I wasn't doing it right but I couldn't figure out what was wrong until after a while i understood this👇 Change how you talk about your work to focus on what your clients need. 👉 Instead of saying, 'I'm a professional graphic designer,' say, 'I create designs that help boost your sales. 👉 Instead of saying'I'm a social media designer. say, 'I make eye-catching designs that keep your brand in people's minds.' Clients care more about how you can help them than about your job title. By showing how your work benefits them, you'll stand out and make a stronger impact. Focus on what makes you stand out! What's your opinion? Let me know in the comments below. Follow me 🎨 and join me on this journey. Let's Learn & Grow together.🤗 #shorts #productdesign #graphicdesign #opinion #creativity

How you think you should grow as a graphic designer vs. how actually to grow... What you think you need to do: ❌ Wait for the perfect time to start ❌ Spend endless hours mastering every single tool ❌ Accept every project, no matter how uninspiring How you actually grow as a graphic designer: ✅ Build a portfolio, even if it's personal or passion projects ✅ Network with other creatives and potential clients on LinkedIn and Instagram ✅ Stay updated on design trends, but don’t shy away from developing your own unique style ✅ Focus on projects that align with your vision and values Believing you can turn your passion into a career is the first step… ...but taking STRATEGIC action is the money maker👌🏽 P.S. Just to clarify, I wasn't on a break; I was busy working on time management for some contracts..[😉]....Now I’ve mastered the art of balancing it all! 😂

What makes you a successful graphic designer? It is not the views on your reels, Nor the followers on your socials. Because if you are judging yourself based on that, you need to stop. I would never want my knowledge or worth to be judged based on that. I want my skills and the work I have done to be the measurement of my success. I am grateful for everybody who follows me but that does not make me successful. What makes me truly successful is: → the proven record that I can help people with my creativity. → my portfolio of the professional work I have done. → my relentless attitude of not giving up every day. → the relationship I have built with my clients. → my passion for continuous learning. None of the numbers on my social media defines my success and it should not be yours too. I know so many great designers who are doing great work but they don’t even have a profile. That does not mean they are less than me. Everyone's measurement of success is different but judging yourself based on your social media numbers is the worst thing you can do. Comment below if you are guilty of it too! #graphicdesigner
