- This video is going to be covering the extruded cut feature. Now we've already learned about basic extrudes and extruded cuts are very similar to regular extrudes but let me show you, there's a few other cool things that we're going to learn about, in this video. So the first thing I want to do is I want to choose a face to draw a sketch on. I'm going to choose this face right here, start a sketch and I'm going to go ahead and just click. So I'm look at normal to that face and I'm going to use the two point rectangle right over here and drag out a rectangle that looks like this. Now, of course if I was being a good designer I would add dimensions and tie things into the relationships as in relationships, tied into the origin and so on.
