- [Instructor] There are many additional chord symbol features found in the ribbon in Sibelius located up in the text tab in the chord symbols group. First, the add from notes feature will analyze selected notes and then input a chord symbol for you based on several settings that you make in the features dialog. Now add from notes as well as many other novelty features in the ribbon used to be a plug-in in previous versions of Sibelius. While some of these appear to be full program features, they are still plug-ins. Plug-in windows tend to be wordy and the features can be a bit quirky, sensitive or difficult to work with so you'll have to be patient and follow directions carefully when using some of these features like this one, add from notes.
