Creating a key schedule
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at data input. And specifically, we're going to talk about a tool that will help us speed up data input called key schedules. So, let's start with a little bit of manual data input, first so that we can see the scope of the problem. So I've got this room finish schedule here. And the very first item in that schedule is this bedroom. So I'm going to click in the floor finish field next to that bedroom and type something in. So maybe this is CPT one. And I'll just simply enter that. So, I'll come down and find some other item like maybe this bathroom, and that might be tile one. And then maybe this living room here, and that's going to be hardwood one. And so on. I can begin typing in any of these values that I like and filling them in there. But of course, it's completely manual. And when you consider that there are four finishes for each room. And then when we scroll…
