- [Instructor] Selecting the most appropriate visualization for your data can be quite challenging. Like a kid in a candy store, sometimes there's just too much choice. So how about we just have a go, knowing that it's pretty easy to change a chart if it just doesn't feel right? If you'd like to follow along with me, then have the exercise file open for this movie. Now, when it comes to working with sales data, perhaps one of the most impactful visuals is a time series chart. So let's go ahead and create one by firstly clicking somewhere in the canvas. And from the Visualizations here, let's go and select Line chart. Now, it doesn't look overly exciting at the moment, and that's just because we haven't linked this to any data. So let's change this. From the fields on the right-hand side, just need to make sure that we open them up, let's drag the OrderDate and drop it over the X-axis here. Power BI will probably apply a default date hierarchy here. And if that's the case, let's change…
