Quickly exporting layers and groups
- [Instructor] While we walk through the process of saving documents in a previous lesson, we should take a moment to learn how to export individual layers, layer groups, and multiple versions of a file to different formats and sizes. So just to review, if we select the file menu and then choose Export, we can choose Export As, and that would export this document as a flattened file. We could choose our format whether we want jpeg, PNG, or gif. I'm going to cancel out of here though, because what if we have multiple layers and we want to export each of those layers independently of one another. So I'm going to select each one of the small layers here except for the pumpkins. Then I'll also select the logo group as well as the Greens. Now, with all of these layers and layer groups selected, instead of choosing the file menu, I'll choose Layer and then Export As. Now we can see on the left hand side that for the group we have a single icon and we can choose what format we want to use to…
