- Shooting at that theater was tricky. I came back with some images that were too soft because there was a lot to balance there, and my shutter speed dropped too low, and I've got a lot of experience. I've got a lot of experience actually shooting in that theater, and so even with my level of expertise and experience, it was still difficult in places in that shoot. If you're starting from nothing, if you have very little experience and very little time with your camera, and you went to do the shoot that I just did, I expect you would come back a little bit frustrated with some of the low light, slow shutter speed situations that happened there. Now with just about an hour's worth of study in the library you could get up to speed on how to handle that situation. There are some simple things you can do to get around those problems, but still, that requires some experience.
