Changing the focal length and zoom

- Besides changing the depth of field, we can also adjust other aspects of the camera itself. You could treat this like it's a fixed prime lens, or as a zoom lens, and both will behave very differently. Let's go ahead and select this first camera here, and I'm going to press command D to duplicate it. That's control D, and I'll rename it zoom lens. This way I've got both cameras available in case I change my mind. Let's twirl that down and we're going to make some tweaks. With the camera selected, I'll open up the camera options here and add a key frame for zoom. What I'd like to do is start in a little bit tighter on our subjects. As I adjust this, you see that the lens transforms. That's pretty cool. You might need to tweak the focus distance if you zoom the camera.
