There are many kinds of data visualizations, some commonly used and some more specialized. Power BI includes an extensive set of built-in visualizations, which can be extended with custom and third-party visualizations. The rest of this sub lesson discusses some common data visualizations, but by no means is it a complete list. Alright, so what exactly are data visualizations? They are graphical representations of data. By using visualizations like charts, graphs, and maps, data visualization tools provided accessible way to see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in data. Visualization is the process of taking raw, row and column based detailed data and presenting it in a summarized manner.
