Describe responsibilities for data engineers
- [Narrator] All right, so in this sublesson, we're going to describe the responsibilities of the data engineer. So the data engineer generally manages infrastructure and process for data integration across the organization. They apply data cleaning routines, identifying data governance rules, and implement pipelines to transfer and transform data between systems. And they typically manage and monitor data pipelines to ensure that data loads perform as expected. So in general, data engineers handle the safe, clean, and performant movement of data between systems in your organization. All right, so there you have it.
