Monitor data replication in relation to latency and availability
- [Instructor] 15.2 monitor data replication in relation to latency and availability. Well, it's a tall order. It's a lot to monitor. Do we have an easier way to get to that data? Yes, we do fortunately, it's called Cosmos DB Insights, and what you find as a trend in Azure over the last couple years is this proliferation, if you don't mind the fancy word of different insights modules that are created by Microsoft as curated as your monitor workbooks. Again, let me bring out my drawing tools to call out some points. We are here in the portal, in the Cosmos account, and if we look at the Cosmos DB insights blade, which we're looking at right here, we see a curated collection of different visualizations. This is part of the workbook technology. It's not specific to Cosmos db, and it's not even specific to the insights module, and Azure Monitor, you can create your own workbooks. They're just using JSON as their underlying definition, and you can choose which of these visualizations best…
