IPv4 subnetting overview
- In this module, we're going to take a look at some of the basics out of IPv4 subnetting. Specifically we're going to take a look at what a directed broadcast address is, what a network address is, we'll discuss the need for subnetting. Why are we doing this in the first place, and we're going to get plenty of practice calculating things like, if I'm given this subnet how many hosts on a subnet do I have? Or if I use this subnet mask, how many subnets am I creating from this network? Let's jump into it.
