- [Instructor] For our human resources processes to make sense, we have to set up the appropriate objects. Let's set up an organizational unit. Organizational units are groups like departments or project teams. Now we'll set up our organizational unit called US Sales. To do this, we'll enter transaction code PPOCE, and press enter. We receive a validity date popup box. We'll make us organizational unit valid from the beginning of 2023. And click continue. We're brought into our organization and staffing create screen, and we're put on our basic data tab, which is an info type. Now we'll enter our organizational unit name. We'll enter US Sales. In the organizational unit description, we'll enter United States Sales. Down below, we'll enter our general description. We'll enter responsible for sales in the US.
