- [Instructor] Continuing from the previous movie, I now want to add some rain to the scene. And I also want to stylize the composition in a way that ties all of the elements together. Firstly, the rain. I did try and add this using generative fill, but I didn't get a good result. So I'm going to fall back on an old school method, but also add a twist to it. And the twist is that I'm first going to add a blank layer, which I will fill with black and convert to a smart object. Now, the reason I've done that is that I'm going to be applying the rain as an action. But having made a smart object, the rain action gets applied to that smart object. And all of the filters and their settings are recorded in that smart object, so they're all editable. What I want is from the image effects action group. If you don't see it, you'll find it on the actions panel menu. Light rain is what we want. I'm going to play that. It starts out looking like this. Now, the action duplicates that layer. So I…
