- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at another communication tool and that is Announcements. Announcements are a great way to remind your students about events, guest speakers, due dates, anything you want to remind them about. Now in order to access and create an announcement, I'm going to go to the Course Navigation bar and then select Announcements. Now in here, you can see that we do not yet have any announcements. If we did, they would fill up this middle of the screen. We could go up here and we could filter them by All or Unread and we can even search for them by keywords. Now over here to the right, we can create our first announcement. I'm going to go ahead and click on Plus Announcement and then we can start creating it. Now it's asking if I want to use some auto saved content, and in this case, I don't want to, so I click No. Up here, we need to title this. I'm going to title it Special Guest…
