- [Instructor] Sometimes when we're doing data entry, we'll find ourselves typing in the same information over and over again. When this happens, Airtable has two great field types that will save us a lot of time, because they give us a list of predefined options to choose from. These two field types are called Single Select and Multiple Select. Let's switch over to our Schedule of Events table. Now let's say that we want to categorize our different sessions by industry, such as education, entertainment, technology, marketing, and so on. We wouldn't want to keep typing these same categories over and over again for different sessions, which is why'd we want to use one of Airtable's select fields. So let's create a new field by clicking on this plus sign, and we'll call it Category. And now we need to decide between Multiple Select and Single Select.
