- [Instructor] I know it's tempting to immediately dive into creating your Airtable database right away, but it's a really good idea to visualize the structure of your database first. That way, everything will be much easier later. So let's plan an event together. There's a great business conference coming up at the Landon Hotel, and we are in charge of the event. So we're going to create our very first event-planning database. The first thing we'll want to do is identify the different groups of information that we want to track for our conference, because many of these groups will become the tables in our database. A table is just a fancy name for a group of related information. So here are the different tables or groups of information that we'll be tracking: conference attendees, a schedule of all the conference sessions, a schedule of all the meal breaks, conference rooms, conference speakers, and conference vendors…
