This includes specific colors, typography, imagery they use, as well as their tone, that's how they describe themselves or the project, and the mood they want to evoke in their audience. Most clients enjoy discussing their brand and also may already have resources you can check out. Audience research is crucial and varies by project, but the goal is always to understand the target audience. Once you gather enough information, it's helpful to create visual resources like charts and graphs for quantitative and qualitative data. A mind map can also help. Visualize associative information if possible. Display the visualizations on a wall, adding sticky notes with ideas and comments.
