- [Instructor] When I conceptualize a design that I'm going to make, I try to align my thoughts to a couple of different ways of planning my design. One I call "inside out." That would be an example like LEGO building blocks. You start off with something small and then you build on top of it. That would be called "inside out." "Outside in" is the opposite. "Outside in" would be something like a sculptor would take a huge block of clay and then start carving away their final shape from the starting profile. Let's talk about what "inside out" is in this video. I'll give you an example. In this section of videos, we're going to be creating a headphone holder. In this case, I would create something like this with a circle, and essentially try to create the main holder first. So something like this, I can then exit out of and create an extrusion. There we go. I have the starting design for the actual hanger for the headphones. And then I go to the back to create some holders for it. This…
