Adding repeats
- [Instructor] Finale has a number of repeat symbols and text markings that can help to keep down the number of page turns and make a part easier to read. Let's take a look at how to add, modify and delete repeat markings. So I've got the repeat start file open if you want to follow along. And we can add repeats using either the repeat tool or the selection tool. So let's start with a couple of easy ones. So I'm just going to select this first measure, and then I'll right click, and I'm going to choose create a forward repeat bar. And then I can go over to the end of this line if I want, and I can right click again and from the contextual menu, I can choose create a backwards repeat bar. Now I can undo this to get rid of those but I want to show you that if you click select the handles here and hit your delete key, you can quickly get rid of repeats if necessary.
