- [Instructor] Here, I want to give you an overview of dynamic arrays because they can be a huge help in building a data tracker. And in discussing dynamic arrays, we're really talking about a new calculation engine that's behind Excel. And you have this if you are on Microsoft 365 Excel 2021 and newer and Excel for the web. Now there are a lot of new, very specific array functions but I want to start by showing you that existing functions can take advantage of this calculation engine. Let's start with something basic. I'm going to go over here and I want to take these instructors names and get 'em all uppercase, =UPPER double click. Next, what text do I want uppercase? I want to go to this table I want this column here and enter. Look at that. We have all of the instructor's names. One formula, many results. Also notice that the cursor is now in cell K5.
