Exploring design mode
- [Instructor] We've been using Figma Slides using the simplified default Slide Mode, which is fine for certain tasks, but what if you desire or need more control over the included elements? We'll now activate Design Mode and explore the additional tools and properties available. A good example of why you'd want to use Design Mode is when you select on something inside of Slide Mode, you get a certain subset of controls, properties that you can change. If we wanted this image to match the width and height of the rest of our imagery, we can use Design Mode to make sure that that happens. So if I choose one of these existing images, you'll notice that we don't actually see any width or height information in the properties area. If we go down to the toolbar, here is the control to switch to Design Mode. Once we do that, the controls turn blue and the toolbar looks a little different. We now have access to our layers along the left hand side here, and obviously there is much more…
