- One issue you'll see in time-lapse shooting is noise. Now, there's lots of ways of getting rid of noise, you can do it after the fact, or you can do it during the development stage when you're working inside of Camera Raw. Let's start with the first place that you can tackle it. I'm going to go back to the first sequence, the nighttime sequence. Aelect all of those images and choose Open in Camera Raw. Now in this case, I see that I captured this at ISO 800. That definitely produces some noise. Now, let's zoom in a little bit here, and take a look at the shot itself. There's definitely some noise. It's not terrible with this shot, but older sensors and higher ISOs can lead to this. And you see we have some unintended graininess there, particularly there in some of the brighter areas.
