(bright music) - [Man] Speed ramping is a really good trick for adding energy, and it also helps to show off the different sides or cover more of the product in a single short shot. - [Woman] Have you ever seen an action movie and the scene speeds up and then it slows down with the action and movement? That's speed ramping. - [Man] You're varying the speed of the clip to give it a cinematic effect and draw attention or excitement to your shot. - This effect is actually more dependent on the post-processing side. It's not something you want to do in camera - Trying to recreate speed ramping by moving the camera really fast, and then slowing it down is dangerous. It's never a good idea to swing your camera around really fast. - And it will never be as smooth as when it's like done with key frames and post. - Yeah, there you have total control.
