Copilot: Sampling concepts

Copilot: Sampling concepts

- [Instructor] This chapter, we looked at sampling, and we also looked at some T-scores. So let's see how helpful Copilot can be in these particular areas. So let's first look at sampling. Suppose we wanted to gather a random sample from our data set. So I'm going to put my cursor here inside of the table and let's see how it recommends. So remember, there's many different ways to gather random samples in Excel. We looked at quite a few of them in this chapter, so it'll be interesting to see how Copilot chooses to gather a random sample. So you'll notice it's actually using one of the methods that we used in this chapter, a very simplistic one. It simply says, why don't you create a new column? And the new column will generate a random number, and then from there it says to, it tells you to just organize everything in either smallest or largest, however you like, and take the first five values, and those would be your sample.
