Insert a PLC (full units)

- [Instructor] We're staying in our PROJECT002, and what we're going to look at now is inserting what they call a full units PLC. Now, this is basically a large block with lots of programmable attributes. So, it's very different to the parametric one. The parametric one comes from database information that is stored in an MDB file with AutoCAD Electrical. The full units ones are pretty much just blocks with lots of attributes to allow you to develop a PLC that way. So, we're going to open up another drawing. We've got PLC Drawing 02 in our PROJECT002. I'm going to double-click on it and open it up and you'll see that it's a nice, big, blank drawing. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to go back up to the Schematic tab on the ribbon, click on the flyout, and I'm going to select Insert PLC Full Units. Now what you'll notice this time is it takes us to the icon menu. This is where you find all of the PLC fixed units and they're really, really useful because they're blocks, but…
