- [Instructor] I often use a bit of EQ saturation or even Live's auto filter plugin to color my delay returns. Now Live 10 includes a cool new delay device named Echo that can do all of that and more. Now let's grab the Echo device from the audio effects category in the browser and let's drag and drop it on this first track. Now at first glance, you'll notice that there are way more parameters on this particular device than the simple delay device that we looked at in an earlier video. So let's start with the basic parameters and then in another video we'll talk about the more advanced features. Okay, so in the upper left-hand corner, we can set the delay time using these two knobs. And you'll notice that if I grab one of those and dial it with my mouse, they're currently both moving. That's because this link button is enabled. If you disable that, you could set the delay times independently.
