Creating a Physical Camera

- [Instructor] Let's create a camera in order to film our scene. I recommend using a physical camera pretty much always. There are only very rare circumstances in which you'd want to use a standard camera. The physical camera is pretty much better in all regards. Let's create one. I'll go to the create panel, to the camera's sub-panel, and click the button labeled "physical". I want to create the camera in the top or perspective view. And the reason for that is when you create an object, it's going to be built at the construction plane of the current viewport. That means if I create my camera in the top or perspective view, it will be created at an elevation of zero. And that's just really very convenient. It'll make it easy for me to position my camera where I need it to be in the scene. Go over to the top view and click in order to create the camera, you'll need to click and hold the mouse button down. Wherever you click is where the camera's going to be created.
