Role and Responsibilities

The Vice President will partner with clients to drive strategic initiatives across the various pillars of the Consello platform. While each day will look different, responsibilities include leading client engagements, overseeing the formulation and implementation of strategic recommendations, driving growth initiatives, and building strategic relationships with clients across industries. The role will provide a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEOs and executive teams of many of the most influential corporations in the world to help them develop, lay out and execute on their long-term business plans.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Lead engagements with client organizations to solve complex business problems and identify value creation opportunities
  • Structure ambiguous problems, focusing on key challenges to deliver actionable solutions
  • Manage workflows to anticipate challenges and ensure teams meet client deadlines efficiently
  • Provide intellectual leadership to ensure high-quality analytical and conceptual outputs
  • Analyze data, test hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations, working with clients to implement change
  • Build consensus on strategic goals and implementation plans with clients and secure commitment to key initiatives
  • Lead ideation and develop new engagement opportunities for potential clients
  • Develop business plans and outline potential strategies to launch new business lines within Consello and grow our existing service offerings
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a diverse and inclusive culture within the team
  • Partner with senior leadership to enhance brand differentiation and ensure exceptional client experience across all touchpoints


Professional Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams in an operational setting with direct view into P&L responsibilities
  • Prior experience as a consultant in a professional services firm with specific experience on strategic, operational, organizational and process transformation projects is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, within financial services, consulting or financially focused operating role at a public company a plus
  • Robust understanding of financial and operational levers (e.g. business plan modeling, working capital management, financial statement analysis)
  • Experience in managing teams of employees including analysts and/or associates
  • Comfort interacting with senior level executives of public companies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of executing projects independently
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented by nature and not afraid to dig into issues at the lowest level of detail
  • Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans and solutions
  • Influencing and motivational skills working with people at all levels in a variety of job functions
  • Track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment

Compensation: $175,000-$250,000 base salary, plus competitive discretionary bonus.
